Zero Factorial is a software studio run by Ethem Kalaja in Tirana, Albania. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website, zerofactorial.io.

• What you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, the kind of project you have in mind and your message, plus anything else you choose to write.
• Technical data. When you visit, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• One saved setting. If you use the "Pause animations" button, your choice is saved in your browser so we can remember it. It stays on your device and does not identify you.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. This site sets no cookies.

• To read and reply to your enquiry, and to prepare a quote or plan if you want to work with us.
• To keep a record of our conversations and, if a project follows, to carry it out.
• To keep the website secure and working.

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to. Where European data protection law applies, we rely on your consent when you send the form, on taking steps you asked for before a contract, and on our legitimate interest in running and protecting this website.

The website does not keep a database of enquiries. A message you send arrives as an email in our inbox, and we keep it for as long as we need to reply to you.

If a project follows, we keep the related messages for the length of the project and for as long as the law requires us to keep business records. If no project follows, we delete the enquiry within 24 months. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time. Cloudflare keeps its technical logs according to its own schedule.

We use a few service providers to run the website and our email. They handle your information only on our behalf:

• Cloudflare, which hosts the website and forwards the email sent to our addresses.
• Resend, which sends the contact form message to us as an email.
• Google, whose email service holds our inbox.

These providers may process data in other countries, including outside Albania and the European Economic Area, under their own safeguards. We may also share information if the law requires it. We do not share it for advertising.

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, or to stop using it. If you gave us consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Where it applies, you can also ask for a copy of your information in a portable form.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country. In Albania, this is the Information and Data Protection Commissioner.
